The Philippines, being predominantly Catholic and Filipinos being of so much faith has a heart so close to Mary. Rosaries and devotion to this wonderful woman is almost in the heart of every person in this country. Churches in honor of the Mother of God can be found in almost all places.It is mostly believed, that in times of calamities and hardships, Mama Mary, as we fondly call her, covers the Philippines and the Filipinos, with the blue mantle of her love and protection as shows in this photo.
